And just like that I’m at Week 10!

I’m panicking right now! This is half way there! And I’m so behind!!

I know I’ve been MIA, but not to worry, I’ve been exercising. Zumba twice a week, BODYCOMBAT twice a week, but not much running. Unfortunately my long runs have not gone over 8 miles. Will really try to push to 10 this coming Saturday and hopefully I will run a couple miles over the week.

I’m stressed- but it’s too late to cry over training not done. So I’m trying to see the positive side of things and just keep moving forward. I will be unprepared for a marathon, but I will kick ass for as long as they let me stay in the course.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but this will be my third time attempting the WDW Marathon. In 2015 I finished 14 miles, in 2016 19 miles. Ahhh! All I want is to be able to maintain their max allowed pace and finish this time! I’m not training for anything hard, just a solid 15 minute mile pace that I can keep for 26.2 miles. It’s possible!

The worst part is that I didn’t submit proof of time, so I might en up in the last corral. Which means no buffer! I really need to be prepared to keep their max pace (16 min/mile) for the whole race! Talk about pressure!

Right now I don’t feel like I can do it. I also accept that I have not much time left, but I’m going to keep on trying. I might surprise myself and really improve in these next 10 weeks. I think I’m moving in the right direction and I’m super motivated! Love going to the gym, never been more excited to keep up with my gym schedule!

So whatever it is, it is!!!! I’m slow but I’m determined. Wish me luck!
